... the praise that book gets is... I don't know where the hell it comes from. It's the most mundane thing I think I've ever read. Well, maybe it's second to Soldier in the Mist. I had to stop reading both novels on account that I couldn't get through them at all. Let the Right One In is just random and really doesn't have much of a story. A little more than halfway through the story and nothing of interest has happened. The book has shifted randomly between different characters, characters I care nothing for and never would. The rampant pedophilia was also just disgusting. Reading about a grown man getting a hard-on after seeing a naked 12 year old isn't enjoyable and it never will be.
