The Black Echo - Michael Connelly It's a short book that could have been much shorter if there wasn't so much tedious detail - I really don't care about what street people drive on to get to every single destination. There was a lot of useless things the cops did and they repeated themselves. One moment they'd have a genius breakthrough idea, the next they'd be as dumb as a pigeon. The dialog was just off as well.

I'll probably try the next book in the series as I don't like to discount one by it's first book.
